Junior Accountant

To provide accounting support with a focus on inventory management, costing analysis, and procurement oversight. The Junior Accountant ensures the accuracy of financial data related to goods received, stock levels, and cost controls, contributing to H3’s overall financial efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

 Accounting & Financial Reporting

• Record daily transactions and assist in preparation of financial reports.
• Reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.

Inventory Control

• Track inventory levels and movements across all locations.
• Reconcile physical inventory counts with system data.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.

Costing & Analysis

• Prepare cost reports on food, beverage, and supply items.
• Analyze variances between standard and actual costs.
• Assist in setting and reviewing standard costs.

Procurement Support

• Verify purchase orders, supplier invoices, and receipts.
• Track procurement expenses and ensure accurate coding.
• Liaise with the procurement team to improve purchasing efficiency.

Compliance & Documentation

• Maintain accurate documentation and records of inventory, cost adjustments, and purchases.
• Support audits and ensure compliance with internal policies and accounting standards.

Minimum Requirements:

• Degree in Accounting or Finance

• 1–2 years’ experience in an accounting or finance role

• Proficiency in Excel and accounting software

• Strong attention to detail and organization

• Experience in hospitality/restaurant industry a plus
