NIGHT MANAGER

The night manager is responsible for all hotel operations during overnight shift hours, focusing on front office operations, night auditing, guest and hotel safety/security, and generally ensuring a professional and high-quality service at all times.

  The successful applicant should satisfy the following minimum requirements:

• Communicating with all managers as required, ensuring the smooth running of night operations.
• Monitoring and coordinating all resort operations departments in the absence of the supervisory personnel.
• Responding to, resolving, and taking appropriate action on guest complaints or challenges to ensure good guest relations.
• Greeting all guests, VIPs, and groups arriving overnight and handling all emergencies, guest and/or employee accidents, or security incidents.
• Supervising nightly housekeeping activities.
• Monitoring nightly food & beverage activities.
• Preparing insightful reports to inform management decision-making and critical evaluation of work activities.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management, Business Management, or any related field.
• Experience in a night manager role within the hospitality industry.
• Good communication and written skills.
• Excellent leadership skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Customer service skills.
• Proven experience with front office management systems.
