The Provider Relations Officer under the guidance of the Claims and Provider Relations Manager, is responsible for ensuring that there is an adequate number of providers on our network and maintaining a mutually beneficial relationship to service our clients as well as conduct audits.

SUMMARY OF KEY DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Identify and enroll providers on the network
  • Conduct audits
  • Respond to queries
  • Conduct training, meetings, and presentations
  • Perform any other duties assigned

  

REQUIRED QUALIFICATION, COMPETENCE AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Associate or First Degree in Management Studies, Business Administration, or related discipline.
  • At least one (1) year's experience in a similar capacity preferred.
  • Adept in the use of Microsoft Office Suite (with emphasis on Microsoft Word and Excel).
  • Industry certifications such as Health Insurance Associate (HIA) – Parts A and B and Life Office Management Association (PARTS 1 and 11) preferred.
  • Must own and operate a motor vehicle.
