Administrative Clerk

Lanco Industries located in Ewarton North St. Catherine, a manufacturer of custom-made shutters for export, is inviting applications from suitably experienced individuals for the position of Administrative Clerk.

Job Summary

Generally supports the role of the Administrative Manager in carrying out the administrative responsibilities of the company. This involves assisting the Administrative Manager with the execution of a wide range of projects, data gathering and research to improve the efficiency of the organization in key operational areas, in addition to specific routine responsibilities and tasks. Maintains databases and generates reports that provide information to assist in the day to day Administration management of the operations.

General Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day support to the Administrative Manager on all Administrative matters that require your assistance.
  • Execute the projects given based on the agreed plan of action.
  • Project delivery time or completion of projects based on known factors and estimation of unknown and unforeseen issues.
  • Provide timely reports as agreed.
  • Liaise with and work with other members of the office staff to obtain information and execute the responsibilities of the position.
  • Observe various administrative procedures and workflow to obtain an understanding of the processes to be able assist in various areas of the administration of the office.

Education and Experience:

  • Associate Degree in Office / Business Administration
  • Outstanding computer skills, proficiency in Google G-Suite and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Minimum of two years working experience in a similar capacity in a fast-paced business environment.
