Lanco Industries located in Ewarton, North St. Catherine is inviting applications from suitably experienced persons for the position of Process Quality Checker

JOB SUMMARY

To check that all products meet agreed specification and quality at each stage of the production process.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

● Ensure that all products are finished to the standard required,

● Ensure that measurements for standard and custom frames are checked and signed off.

● All products are checked and stamped before final wall

● Ensure all documents are properly written up and signed off

● Ensure that work is routed and processed in the order agreed with Team Leader and in a timely manner

● Ensure every Pre- Finisher has the correct tools and materials for the job being processed

● Ensures order is kept in the area and tools are put away in the evenings

● Ensure area is kept clean and garbage is emptied daily

● Ensure Horsts are used in the correct way. Third horst for long

shutters.

● Ensure tools are cared for and managed as agreed

● Ensure used sandpaper box is maintained and sandpaper used as agreed

● Ensure that any product that is put on the final wall has final sign off by you.

● Ensure correct steps are followed when processing products, e.g. no cross grain sanding.

● Ensure that the QA Coordinator is notified immediately if the plan is not going as instructed

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

Education and Experience:

● Minimum of a high school education with passes to include English Language and a numeric subject.

● At least three year’s experience in quality inspection in a manufacturing facility.

● Experience in a Supervisory or Team Leader capacity in a production environment would be an asset
