HOSPITALITY- MANAGEMENT AND SERVICE ROLES

The Terra Nova All-Suite Hotel located in Kingston, Jamaica, is seeking warm, enthusiastic, service oriented, individuals with a great attitude to join our team

The Terra Nova All-Suite Hotel located in Kingston, Jamaica, is seeking warm, enthusiastic, service-oriented individuals with a great attitude to join our team in the following roles:

• Bartender
• Hostess
• Cashier
• Busser- Temporary role
• Server

Cashier Requirements:

• High school certificate
• Mathematical skills/ excellent calculating skills
• Computer literate
• At least 1 year experience in a similar capacity
• Ability to work holidays and weekends
• Ability to work flexible hours
• Report to work on a timely basis

Bartender/ Sever candidate requirements:

• NVQ-J Level 1 or 2 certificate in Food and Beverage  or similar certification from a recognized training institution
• Three CXC subjects including English Language
• For bartending, mixology certification or experience an asset.
• At least one year experience in a similar capacity
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment 

Hostess Requirements:

• Great personality
• CXC or equivalent certificate in English Language
• At least two (2) years’ experience in a previous capacity
• Excellent knowledge of the functions and responsibilities of a hostess  
• Excellent customer service and communications skills
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Possess strong attention to detail
• Ability to multi-task in high stress situations
• Ability to work in a team environment  

Busser Requirements:

• The busser should ensures a clean and pleasant dining experience by clearing, sanitizing or resetting tables. They should ensure that the restaurant is well stocked with necessary items.
• Must have a great attitude.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Working knowledge of food and beverage.
• Great communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
