The successful candidate will contribute to the daily operations of the Condiments Plant by planning of maintenance activities with the objectives of ensuring all equipment are available for Production with no maintenance related downtime.

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Leading the communication to Maintenance and Production team with the scheduling of weekly preventive maintenance activities, followed by tracking of execution completeness and effectiveness.
  • Leading the preparation of weekly Maintenance schedules factoring priorities that affects equipment availability. 
  • Leading the execution of identifying and stocking critical spare parts required for planning preventive maintenance schedules.
  • Preparing and communicating daily, weekly and monthly Equipment performance summary reports.  
  • Supporting the development of preventive maintenance plans through equipment performance monitoring, best run setting and OEM guidance.
  • Supporting the identification of hazards and to lead the implementation of immediate and longer-term solutions for identified hazards, enlisting the support of necessary personnel (whether internal or external) for timely implementation of the solutions as guided by the OHSMS.
  • Ensuring the availability of spare parts for planned preventive maintenance activities and common corrective maintenance interventions.
  • Supporting the analysis of modes of equipment and process failures to support the determination of appropriate equipment and process modifications which eliminate or at least minimize the occurrence of failures that impact (or have the potential to) health, safety, the environment, productivity, or sustainability objectives.  
  • Supporting the continuous improvement of plant productivity through implementation of world class manufacturing initiatives and verifying the compliance with such standards.  
  • Assisting with coaching and training in problem solving techniques and risk assessments.  
  • Assuring the accuracy and completeness of use of maintenance control reports.
  • Leading the designing of maintenance work instruction and equipment check list for all equipment.
  • Record downtimes in Digital file, Asset downtime tracker to predict failures before it affects the Equipment available time to function.
  • Liaise with Production Controller and Production Manager to schedule PM in accordance with Production Schedule.
  • Leading condition monitoring using related tools such as infrared, vibration analysis and laser alignment through daily, weekly and monthly checklists.
  • Leading the assurance of calibration and verification for all related equipment.

  

Position Requirements: 

  • A Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline.
  • Training and/or experience in the areas of Work Planning and Scheduling, identification of critical spare parts, Inventory Management and proficient in using CMMS.
  • A minimum of two (2) years of experience in the field of engineering, maintenance, or manufacturing production management.
  • Experience in the specific area of Maintenance Planning and Scheduling would be considered an asset.
