Engagement Management Coordination, Team Lead & Senior Officer (K-JESS)

KPMG in Jamaica seeks to identify Team Leads and Senior Officers, Engagement Management (EMC). The role requires a strong customer service orientation and academic knowledge in or working with accounting.

OVERVIEW:

KPMG Jamaica Extended Support Services (JESS) seeks to identify Team Leads and Senior Officers, Engagement Management (EMC) who will be responsible for performing various tasks in accordance with standard operating procedures provided by the Clients’ EMC team including, but not limited to performing data entry and processing tasks to support the EMC team.

 The role requires a strong customer service orientation and academic knowledge in or working with accounting. This includes learning how to efficiently use a variety of accounting and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems. Successful candidates will need to exhibit these skills and be able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with a keen ability to prioritize.

The EMC plays an important role in supporting assigned engagement partners (EPs)/managing directors by gathering, analyzing, and interpreting engagement accounting and risk management issues.

EMC Team Lead

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Equivalent Professional Accreditation
• Three or more years of relevant work experience in the Finance & Accounting field or a similar process (project management experience would be an advantage)
• At least two years managing others
• Advanced accounting knowledge
• Experience with a professional services firm would be an advantage

EMC Senior Officer

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field from an accredited college or university required
• Minimum of three years of accounting experience (project management experience would be an advantage)
• Ability to take guidance from management and higher levels regarding account processes and procedures
• Advanced accounting knowledge
• Experience with a professional services firm would be an advantage
