Position Scope:
The National Delivery Manager directs and leads the day-to-day management and development of the Delivery Network to achieve the performance, customer service and growth goals of TTPost.
Key Duties And Responsibilities:
Leads and motivates the Delivery Network Team ensuring performance reviews are conducted, training and development needs are identified to support improvement in skills, behaviours and attitudes, and that employees with potential are identified.
Manages the Delivery Network Team to achieve the objective goals and targets outlined in the Business Plan and ensures that expenditure is within budget.
Implements, monitors and reviews procedures to prevent revenue leakages.
Measures, monitors and ensures that the Postal Delivery Network achieves its targets, in particular for Universal Service, on time delivery, customer satisfaction and security
Implements opportunities for quality improvement and cost effectiveness in the Delivery Department
Ensures Delivery Management information is collated, analyzed and reported to support decision making on all issues affecting the Delivery Department
Communicates TTPost’s vision, goals and targets to the department’s employees, ensuring that employees’ roles and standards of performance are clearly advised
Ensures that HR policies and practices, and in particular good industrial relations practices compliant with the collective bargaining process/agreement, are followed
Education:
Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Management/Operations/Logistics or related discipline
Experience:
At least seven (7) years progressive experience in a Operations Logistics role
A successful track record in an Operations Management role
Significant experience in developing and implementing strategies to increase efficiency, maintain quality and ensure continuous improvement
Strong business acumen and ability to prepare strategic plans
