The Central Subsea (CSS) Commissioning Engineer is responsible for technical assurance lead for all CSS subsea commissioning related activities and Commissioning.

The Central Subsea (CSS) Commissioning Engineer functions as the technical assurance lead for all CSS subsea commissioning related activities including but not limited to:-

  • Review and approval of commissioning contractors procedures.
  • Provides onshore and offshore execution planning readiness.
  • Ensures compliance to Client commissioning standards.
  • Ensures compliance to industry construction standards.
  • Liaises with HSSE to ensure compliance to regulatory requirements.
  • Leads resolution of all technical challenges related to the CSS scopes of work.
  • Ensures 3rd party technical queries are addressed and embedded in execution plans.
  • Embeds Client Risk Action Plan requirements in all Client and contractor deliverables.
  • Embeds lessons learned from Client global projects.
  • Develop CSS execution documentation and lead Client and contractor reviews in compliance with the Client Commissioning Practice.
  • Works with the onshore installation and commissioning team to ensure alignment on the various commissioning scopes of work.
  • Perform site visits and provide site supervision of CSS-managed scopes of work.
  • Works with onshore and offshore brownfield teams to lead resolution of any site related issues.
  • Lead the Client oversight program at all CSS-sites and ensures compliance of contractor self-verification plans.
  • Embeds COVID-19 management learnings/barriers/etc. into Client and contractor planning processes.
  • Works with subsea and onshore construction teams to align on installation and tie-in/commissioning scopes of work.
  • Supports the subsea and onshore construction teams to develop and operationalize the handover management system.
  • Fulfil ARP role as required onsite and offshore Trinidad.
Qualifications and Experience
  • A First Degree in Engineering (BSc. BEng).
  • A minimum of  tem (10) years relevant experience in the Oil and Gas Industry.
  • Experience with de-commissioning, pre-commissioning and commissioning related activities (Project Management, Commissioning Engineering & Contractor Management, Logistics Management).
  • Experience with Subsea Execution and Onshore Execution Readiness & Management.
