Job summary:

 The maintenance manager oversees all repairs and maintenance of equipment, building and landscape.

Reporting to: Operations Manager

Requirements:

Minimum of Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized tertiary institution with at least 3 years’ experience in a related job, or a Certificate in Refrigeration/AC from a recognized vocational institution with at least 5 years’ experience in the maintenance and repairs to refrigeration and AC.

Working knowledge of maintenance machinery and equipment.

Good written and oral communication skills.

Excellent organizational and leadership abilities.

Duties:

Supervise and lead all maintenance processes and operations

Prepares maintenance department payroll/timesheet

Track expenses and oversee the budget for maintenance

Maintain all machinery to ensure they meet working standards

Create and implement maintenance procedures

Conduct regular inspections of the equipment to detect and resolve problems

Plan and manage all repair and installation activities

Ensure that all workers adhere to safety policies and procedures

Assign repair schedule and evaluate repair cost estimates

Document and prepare progress reports and maintenance logs

Oversee equipment stock and place orders for new supplies when necessary.
