Junior Engineers

The person operating in this position is required to complete the following tasks with the greatest efficiency and adhere to all health & safety practices of the Company.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for-:

1. Being an Understudy with a view of effectively running a department.
2. Assisting in doing costing and provide quotations for jobs.
3. Providing working drawings for production floor assemblies.
4. Assisting in improving standards and developing programs that would improve the efficiencies and cost effectiveness in the department.
5. Providing pre-sales information to Sales and Marketing including: Estimated Bill of Material, Design lead time, and/or written description of system operation.
6. Developing schedules; coordinating and managing projects of all sizes with minimal supervision.
7. Simplifying product designs for improved manufacturability and reduce cost without compromising product quality and function.
8. Providing technical support to Production team. 
9. Assisting the Maintenance Technicians when necessary in providing quality checks, testing and approval of all products leaving the Switchgear Department and maintain all international standards set in the production of Switchgear.
10. Effectively communicating with co-workers.
11. Following company operating procedures, safety rules and ISO requirements.
12. Performing other related duties as required.
13. Practicing good personal hygiene and keep the general work environment in a clean condition.
14. Working overtime when called upon as a means of achieving management’s promised delivery dates at the rates stipulated in the Labor Act.
15. work overtime on Saturdays and on a rotating shift basis should the need arise
