Atlantis was developed and operated by Kerzner International, a leading international developer and operator of destination resorts, casinos and luxury hotels. In 2012, the resort development was acquired by Brookfield Asset Management. Three of the resort's five properties, Royal, Coral and Cove, participate in the Marriott Bonvoy loyalty program.

Atlantis features five unique lodging options with a total of 3,800+ rooms: the grand iconic towers of recently renovated The Royal, family-friendly accommodations at The Coral, water-side villas at Harborside Resort, all-suite luxury accommodations at The Cove, and residential-style accommodations with full kitchens at The Reef. In 2024, in partnership with Groot Hospitality, Atlantis will open a new resort, Somewhere Else, at the former location of The Beach.

The Cove, Atlantis Paradise Island's luxury hotel, is nestled along a protected cove between two private white sand beaches. The Cove offers 600 elegant suites with balconies, floor-to-ceiling ocean views, and impeccable butler service. The adults-only Cove Pool features 20 private beach cabanas with Bahamian-inspired art and design. Guests can enjoy outdoor gaming at the pool, indoor gaming at Sea Glass Lounge.

The resort is centered around Aquaventure, an innovative, 141-acre waterscape of thrilling slides and river rides, eleven pools, and five miles of white sand beaches. In 2022, t he 65,000 sq ft Atlantis Casino will undergo a décor refresh that will include modern finishes, shimmering textures and celestial fixtures, offering an ever grander and more elegant sense of space. Other updates will include the expansion of the Atlantis Casino's two on-site lounges, an exciting high-limit slots lounge, and an expansion of the exclusive gaming salon, Salon Prive. The Atlantis Casino hosts 85 table games, 700 slot machines and a 15,000 sq ft Race and Sports Betting Parlor.

Atlantis has committed to a meaningful connection with the ocean, marine life, sustainability, and environmental stewardship through its purpose-led efforts with Dolphin Cay and the Atlantis Blue Project Foundation (ABPF). Job Summary

As a Director of Mixology, your creative flair and passion for beverage will lead your bar team to create superior beverage experiences to our guests. You will train and monitor your bar staff to ensure the highest quality of service.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

Reporting to the Executive Director of Beverage, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

• Responsible for the beverage program in more than 30 bars across the resort including celebrity restaurants.
• Work in partnership with the Restaurant Managers you will assist in executing the smooth and flawless operation of the Bars and Restaurants.
• Develop a complete working knowledge of the menu items and their ingredients and preparation.
• Develop a complete working knowledge of all products served in the bars.
• Ensure that all details of service are performed by the bartenders to expected standards and that every guest receives the highest quality of service in line with determined standards.
• Train bartenders and service team to ensure beverage knowledge and service levels are to standard.
• Drive cocktail menu changes to ensure fresh, innovative and seasonally accurate cocktails are available on the menu.
• Assist with beverage procurement, beverage costing and pricing.
• Develop and conduct training sessions for all beverage products.
• Contribute to shift briefings as required for all beverage products.
• Complete product requisitions accurately and maintain bar beverage inventory control.
• Ensure all bartenders have the tools they need to perform their duties with success.
• Ensure proper pouring, mixing, blending of drinks in line with determined standards.
• Monitor bar opening and closing duties and completed daily to standard by bartenders.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities.
• Excellent work ethic with a high degree of responsibility
• Ability to work cohesively as part of a team and build relationships.

• 3-4 years being a creative bartender in a luxury establishment.
• Excellent knowledge of wines, spirits, and mixed drinks
• Great teaching and coaching skills
• Strong commitment to service
