Quality Assurance Officer - ANSA Bank Ltd

Our client, ANSA Bank Limited is seeking candidates to fill the position of Quality Assurance Officer

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure continuous monitoring and analysis of all Bank transactions to ensure compliance with policies and procedures and regulatory guidelines.
• Ensure transaction alerts generated via the Bank’s monitoring tool are assigned, investigated and closed accordingly.
• Perform regular and comprehensive compliance testing, and report findings to the respective Departmental Heads as required.
• Establish and operate a mechanism for reporting known or suspected cases of non-compliance, wrongdoing or suspicious activity
• Provide ongoing and remedial feedback / recommendation to all staff where activities/transactions are not in compliance with the Bank's policies and procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure that compliance procedures are adhered to and documented Corrective Action Plans are implemented within identified target dates.
• Develop and Maintain satisfactory Customer Relationships with both internal and external customers.
• Provide information and guidance to assist the various Departments to operate within compliance of the Bank's policies and procedures and all regulatory requirements.
• Support behaviours to promote and maintain a strong compliance culture in the Bank

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• BSc / BA in Business, Finance, Law or a related field
• Professional certification (e.g., ACAMS, Certified Compliance, Ethics Professional, LLB) is a plus
• 3 – 5 years’ proven experience in Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) and/or Operational Risk Management (ORM).
• Good knowledge of legal requirements, procedures and controls (POCA, ATA & FOR)
