Role Summary

As the Marketing Manager at Farfan & Mendes, you will play a pivotal role in creating and executing effective marketing strategies that align with our business objectives. You will lead a multidisciplinary team, collaborate with various departments, and leverage your expertise to enhance brand awareness, customer engagement, and overall business growth.

 

Strategic Planning and Leadership:

  1. Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to support Farfan & Mendes' growth, aligning with sustainability goals and values.
  2. Lead a marketing team, offering guidance, mentoring, and support for effective execution of work plan.
  3. Collaborate cross-functionally with divisions to identify opportunities and insights, shaping integrated marketing plans.
  4. Set clear marketing objectives aligned with Farfan & Mendes' growth, sustainability goals, and green initiatives.
  5. Create and manage marketing budgets, optimizing resource allocation for maximum impact.
  6. Regularly communicate the marketing strategy including green marketing initiatives to key stakeholders across departments.

 

Market Research and Analysis:

  1. Conduct competitive analysis to identify market trends and opportunities for product lines.
  2. Utilize customer feedback and data insights to inform marketing strategies.
  3. Monitor industry shifts and emerging trends.
  4. Lead market research, including forecasts, competitive dynamics, trends, and campaign results for industry leadership.
  5. Identify new market segments to benefit from company products and services.
  6. Analyze marketing performance metrics, deriving actionable insights for continuous improvement.

 

Digital Marketing Strategy:

  1. Plan and execute content marketing campaigns and seek opportunities to embed Farfan & Mendes sustainability commitments.
  2. Collaborate with market stakeholders to promote green partnerships and eco-friendly solutions.
  3. Oversee website and social media platforms and ensure Farfan & Mendes sustainability efforts are highlighted.
  4. Drive adoption of AI and marketing automation, CRM, and content management systems for enhanced efficiency.

 

Green Marketing and Sustainability:

  1. Develop and implement green marketing strategies to promote sustainable products and practices.
  2. Integrate sustainability messaging into marketing campaigns and promote sustainable solutions to resonate with environmentally conscious customers.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for sustainability-driven marketing initiatives.
  4. Integrate sustainable practices into marketing campaigns, showcasing the Farfan & Mendes' eco-friendly and climate smart products and initiatives.

 

Brand Management:

  1. Lead development of the corporate brand, ensuring consistency and alignment with Farfan & Mendes' values.
  2. Manage offline and online media campaigns to enhance brand visibility and reach.
  3. Develop and enforce brand guidelines that reflect the company's commitment to sustainability.
  4. Craft compelling narratives around sustainable practices, aligning with the company's values.
  5. Monitor brand sentiment related to sustainability and ESG and address any issues proactively.

 

External Partnerships and Communication:

  1. Establish and maintain relationships with media and other external entities for efficient execution of PR and communication matters.
  2. Provide guidance and support for the execution of PR initiatives.
  3. Provide professional marketing advice to executives and senior managers throughout the organization.
  4. Ensure compliance with marketing regulations, standards, and policies.

 

Continuous Learning and Innovation:

  1. Stay informed about marketing innovations, green marketing, industry trends, and emerging technologies.
  2. Evaluate new tools and platforms that can enhance the effectiveness of green marketing efforts.
  3. Encourage a culture of innovation within the marketing team, driving sustainability-focused initiatives.

 

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Management, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in marketing roles, with at least 3 years in a managerial capacity.
  • Proven experience in strategic marketing and leadership.
  • Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) qualifications are desirable but not essential.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical and data reasoning abilities.
  • Proficiency in marketing tools and software such as marketing automation, CRM, and content management systems.
  • Positive and approachable demeanour with excellent organizational and time management skills.
