Driver

The Delivery Driver is responsible for the delivery and pickup of a wide range of consumer products whilst maintaining a professional image and providing good customer service.

We are a fast-moving medium-sized Distribution and Processing Company seeking to identify a suitably qualified individual for the position Driver for our Clarendon location:

 Job Summary

The Delivery Driver is responsible for the delivery and pickup of a wide range of consumer products whilst maintaining a professional image and providing good customer service.

Key Functions:

• Load, transport, and delivery of Consumer goods to clients or businesses in a safe, timely and efficient manner.
• Reviewing of orders before and after delivery to ensure that orders are complete, charges are correct, and the customer is satisfied.
• Assisting with loading and unloading products from vehicles.
• Accepting payments for delivered goods.
• Adherence to assigned routes schedules.
• Adherence to the Company's Motor Vehicle Policy and Regulations whilst adhering to the laws that govern the operations of motor vehicles.
• Provide excellent customer service, answering questions, and handling complaints from clients.

Minimum Requirement & Competencies:

• Excellent Customer Service Skills
• School Leaving Certificate with at least three years’ experience driving large truck.
• Possession of a valid open General Driver’s License
• A high level of integrity, confidentiality, and the ability to work on own initiative.
