General Responsibilities 

As Maintenance Manager your duties will include, but not be limited to the following:

• Taking a positive approach to developing your skills in the varying aspects of the operations and as assigned to you;
• Applying dedication and commitment to all areas of your work including additional activities which may include but not be limited to, Company-sponsored training courses;  
• Having an eye for quality and detail in every task you undertake or assist in the execution of;
• Maintaining Health, Safety and Cleanliness at all times;
• Presenting yourself in a manner which sets a positive example at all times as a representative of the Company;
• Displaying the safe and recommended operation of all equipment within the department to which you are assigned;
• Abiding by and promoting the Health & Safety at Work Act so as to minimize work days lost due to work-related illness and workplace injuries;
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic and ever-changing environment. 
• Control and consolidation of all maintenance resources and best utilization of such;
• The continuous analyzing and adjusting of the said resources so as to meet all maintenance goals while staying within budget;
• The establishment and management of a preventive/predictive maintenance program for all equipment which continually reduces downtime and increases availability of all equipment;
• Oversight and review of production and maintenance reports to facilitate planning of all maintenance activities;
• Inspection of all operating machinery, equipment and vehicles for conformance with operational standards;
• Assurance of equipment reliability to maximize operational productivity;
• Active management, supervision, leadership and motivation of all team members; 
• Orientation and training towards consistently building the capabilities of the maintenance team;
• Managing procurement of all parts required for effective maintenance of all equipment including developing relationships with suppliers to ensure we get the best quality, price and service and best resources for best practices in preventative maintenance and equipment use.
