Financial Accountant

A leading Private Security firm is seeking a qualified and experienced Financial Accountant

The Financial Accoutant will be expected to:

1. Leading the annual budgeting exercise to include the necessary level of details and measures for post budget performance analysis.
2. Providing decision support by gathering, compiling, analyzing, preparing and summarizing data for financial projects/subjects such as project profitability, forecasting trends and transaction analysis.
3. Monthly analysis of financial performance data (financial statements and management accounts) and preparation of the necessary reporting for management presentation, discussion and decision making.
4. Preparation of the Fixed Asset Register, Accruals, Prepayments, Intercompany and Inventory Schedules on a monthly basis.
5. Ensuring proper internal controls are established in all subsidiaries.
6. Leading the costing process for tenders and quotations 

The ideal applicant will be appropriately qualified in accounting and should have at least seven (7) years' experience in a similar role.
