The FM Supervisor will oversee equipment maintenance and repair, inspect the grounds and building as well as assist other employees.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Supervise the daily activities of the Junior Facilities Assistant, Technicians and Contractors daily.
Ensure the air-conditioning units, electrical, plumbing and lift systems are maintained and repaired as required.
Ensure the proper use of equipment.
Schedules and dispatch jobs and ensure completion on a daily basis.
Ensure the building and grounds are inspected on a daily basis.
Ensure a safe and effective work environment, which may include enforcing new policies and reporting accidents.
Assist with preparing purchase requisitions documents for facility’s needs to ensure on time delivery of maintenance projects.
Organizes and lead weekly meetings with Team on progress of projects and HSE issues.
Ensures all Job requests are responded to within 2 to 4 hours upon receipt.
Prepares Work Requests for Services daily and dispatch to appropriate Technician/Assistant.
Prepares and submits monthly reports to the Facilities Manager in a timely manner.
Updates CMMS database / logs of maintenance work status daily.
Performs any other duties as required by the job function and assigned.
Experience:
Minimum of 3 years’ supervisory experience in the field of Facilities Management.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the construction industry.
Knowledge and experience in coordinating various MEP and Construction contractors in task-related and project-level works.
Qualifications:
Certification in Facilities Management or Technician Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (MET)/ Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification in a related discipline.
Technology:
Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project).
Experience with using and updating a CMMS database
Competency Skills:
Knowledgeable in facilities management best practices
