Our client, Kelvin Ghany Enterprises(KGEL) Ltd is seeking to fill the position of Specialty Brand Manager

JOB SUMMARY

The Specialty Brand Manager will be responsible for profitably executing the Sales and Marketing functions for the respective/assigned brands while ensuring perpetual growth and increasing market share, with keen focus on the specified channels/routes / accounts and on timely collections of all payments.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

SALES:

  • Prepares and disseminates to staff quarterly and Annual Sales Targets, with prior approval of Managing Director, on a product basis.
  • Monitors results against targets and fine-tune plans as needed.
  • Monitors Reps results and recommends corrective actions where needed.
  • For new / recent (less than 2 years) entries into the market, implement an aggressive yet realistic Marketing Plan to increase the brands’ presence in the market by encouraging customers to stock a wider, more diverse mix of products and increasing the customer base.
  • Prepares regular stock updates to disseminate to Sales Representatives.
  • Nurtures and promotes long lasting customer relationships by paying timely and regular trade visits. Supports Sales Targets (by Brands) with appropriate/realistic buy-plans and suggests orders to Procurement Team.
  • Monitor buy-plans for perpetual relevance.
  • Identifies new markets/opportunities and pursue.
  • Prepares sell sheets in-house and disseminate to Reps as needed.
  • Constantly identify/monitor the competition and any threats to the brand i.e., pricing, range, promotions, marketing, substitutes etc.

MARKETING:

  • Creates the annual advertising/promotional/marketing strategy and supporting budget for assigned brands.
  • Monitors and restrategise minimum monthly for desired results, ensuring acceptable/targeted Returns on Investments (ROIs).
  • Measure and report performance of all marketing campaigns and assess Key Performance Indicator (KPIs) and ROIs with updated recommendations where needed
  • Manages promotions, displays, demos, and any other in-store activity.
  • Monitors customer reaction examples: acceptance /resistance and re-align strategies, where needed.
  • Monitor social media pages and increase the brands’ digital presence.
  • Prepare data for Social Media Consultant/In-House support staff.
  • Review, approve and vet cataloguing
  • Partner with key industry players
  • Analyse marketing trends to position products
  • Registers/net-work with various industrial customers, contractors, and state agencies.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • First Degree in Social Sciences
  • At least two (2) years’ experience in a similar capacity.
  • Must be mobile – available and willing to commute throughout Trinidad and Tobago.
  • Must be the holder of a valid Driver’s License.
