Serves as a subject matter expert in the administration of North American leaves of absence and workplace accommodation requests, Workers’ Compensation claims, and workplace safety.

YOUR DAY TO DAY
•Participate in the interactive process as the medical leaves of absence, return to work, and workplace accommodation programs claims process administrator interacting with employees, managers and Employee Experience.
•Investigate all employee reports of workplace injuries and illness, timely file Workers’ Compensation claims with the appropriate insurance vendor or governmental agency, and partner with the insurer and/or legal counsel to manage open claims through closure.
•Perform daily consultation with Employee Experience, Benefits and Payroll personnel, employees, and managers to interpret relevant company policies and procedures and legal regulations to administrate employee medical leaves of absence and workplace accommodation requests.
•Develop and maintain accurate files of all confidential information, both hardcopy and electronic.
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE 
•2 or more years of Leave Management, Human Resources, Legal, Compliance, Insurance, and/or Healthcare Claims Administration or related/equivalent experience.
•Experience working in a strong customer-service-focused environment with a focus on employee education. Preferably within human resources.
•Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and written communication skills.
•Ability to effectively organize work and priorities against deadlines with a strong attention to detail.
•Above average analytical, interpretive, and decision-making skills with excellent judgment and clear and conceptual thinking ability.
•Self-motivated with an ability to excel in a remote/work-at-home environment. Work hours consistent with North America: 8 am – 5 pm eastern standard time.
