Warehouse Manager

A Warehouse Manager is needed for resort in Western Jamaica whose primary goal organize deliveries, storage and dispatching of goods in the warehouses. He/She will ensure products are accounted for, are stored safely and securely, and are dispatched efficiently on the property.

• Authorize and verify the departures of goods from the warehouse.
• Train the collaborators in their charge in the activities of their function.
• Control items with low turnover and high cost. 
• Control the incoming and outgoing goods.
• Coordinate deep cleaning and order in the warehouse.
• Coordinating staff activities lowers their position.
• Coordinate and verify the capture of goods receipts.
• Evaluate the performance of the personnel in charge in an objective manner.
• Evaluate that the quality of the merchandise is in optimal conditions.
• Achieve close communication between collaborators and departmental heads.
• Carry out the physical inventory of goods.
• Perform performance tests of frozen foods. 
• Reject merchandise in poor condition or of unsolicited price.
• Receive merchandise from suppliers.
• Receive and request information on the activities carried out by the staff lowers their position.
• Report daily the entries and exits of products from the warehouse and send copies to the purchasing and accounting management.
• Check the stock of goods.
• Supervising the work of the staff lowers their position.
• Supervise that the goods are properly stored for their location and proper distribution.
• Supervise that senior employees teach new employees how to do activities. 
• Supervise that inventories are carried out.
• Verify that the levels of the stocks of the goods are adequate.
• Verify that there is an adequate rotation of merchandise, using inventory control methods.
