Wash Bay Attendant

Performance standards require the Wash Bay Attendants to clean the external and interior of light and heavy vehicles.

Job Summary: To perform a full range of wash bay duties related to the care, cleaning and minor maintenance of the wash bay; to monitor the wash bay and assist in the cleaning of all vehicles

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• To monitor machine in wash bay to ensure proper operation
• To assists in cleaning trucks as needed with brushes and spray bar
• Maintains a clean work area in the wash bay
• To operate wash bay equipment and clean wash bay
• To operate high-pressure steam cleaning equipment to clean and wash all vehicles
• To perform light maintenance and daily cleaning of washing system, wash bays and other service centre facilities
• To empty and clean drain traps and trays in wash bays
• To maintain wash bay equipment in proper working condition
• To drive vehicles to and from the wash bay area to complete cleaning and washing responsibilities
• To use appropriate safety equipment and procedures in performing assignments
• To sanitize all vehicles upon entry before entering the workshop area

Qualifications, Training & Experience:

1. School Leaving Certificate
2. A valid drivers license required
