The Onshore Logistics Drilling Coordinator is responsible to ensure the safe, reliable offshore operations by efficient planning and shipment of all cargo to and from offshore. Focus on providing accurate and timely planning information. Kabal 'super-user',

Roles & Responsibilities

General

• Act as the Asset logistics onshore focal point with regards to the timely coordination of all outbound cargo movements with emphasis on the optimisation of logistics resources, especially supply and crew vessel utilisation.

• Deliver connectivity and engagement with the PSCM MM & IL function, service providers, supply base service provider focal point and offshore logistics coordinator.

• Ensure offshore logistics coordinator is consulted to confirm offshore readiness for cargo thereby eliminating or reducing round trip cargo.

• Liaise with service providers regarding the call-off of cargo including materials, equipment, bulks and services.

• Communicate and maintain working relationships with all key stakeholders.

• Liaise with bulk service provider and internal marine/bulk coordinator to ensure timely load out of bulk products.

• Participate in the daily logistics planning meeting and provide input into vessel scheduling.

• Produce and issue timely cargo load lists – 7day, 48hr & 24hr.

• Administration and maintenance of system generated cargo demands including raising system call off requests.

• Provide feedback to onshore Heli-admin after every daily call to ensure their personnel/air freight plan/schedule is aligned with operational requirements.

• Review CCU management reports and check for any CCUs over 14days at service providers or offshore and facilitate return.

• Provide input into Regional supply vessel and supply base scheduling processes by ensuring they are given advance notice of Cargo requirements.

• Efficiently manage and track movement of High-Cost Rentals.

• Update and maintain rental tracking tool in conjunction with offshore Logistics Coordinators.

• Support timely collection, reporting and analysis of global supply base cargo planning KPIs/Metrics data.

• Track, capture and report unplanned cargo demands (Cargo <24hrs notice).

• Ensure service providers send a copy of the Dangerous Goods declaration to the Port Authority 24hrs prior to vessel sailing.

• Comply with CLIENT global and regional supply base standard operating practices (SOPs).

• Deliver connectivity and engagement between Logistics and internal and external stakeholders, focus on planning, prioritisation and optimisation of Logistics resources to meet operational cargo requirements.

 

Customer

• Develop and maintain effective customer relationships.

• Identify opportunities to improve service delivery within the ASCO operation.

• Investigate service failures and suggest improvements/changes to the process where required.

Minimum Qualifications

• 5+ Years' experience in the Oil Industry & Supply Chain Logistics

• Physically fit, ability to lift 50lbs, traverse ladders, able to function outdoors in the hot sun.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills are required, and an excellent attention to detail.

• Adherence to the ASCO’s integrated management system ensuring document control and improvements to key processes is maintained.

• Ensure all work is carried out in a safe manner, always complies with HSEQ procedures, GLP, working instructions and safety standards.
