As the Senior Compliance Manager, you will take on a senior position within the team to ensure that all legislative and regulatory requirements are met, as well as helping them to develop robust compliance frameworks, establishing process and best practice, building out the team and resources.

Responsibilities:

  • Developing and maintaining procedures, systems and controls to ensure that the business is in compliance with the Cayman Islands AML Regulations.
  • Reviewing onboarding practices and documentation, liaising with the business as required and make recommendations as to improvements
  • Developing and maintaining detailed knowledge of business operations and the regulatory implications thereof, including AML/CFT policies and procedures
  • Monitoring and controlling day to day operations to ensure compliance with business and regulatory requirements and meeting all service standards
  • Working closely with client's Senior Management, identifying issues and proposing solutions
  • Supervising and training other staff members

Qualifications:
  • University degree in Finance/Accounting/Law
  • 6 years of experience in compliance environment within a professional services firm
  • Proven practical application of the laws, regulations and guidance
  • Knowledge of sanctions regimes, PEPs and other high-risk categories
  • Outstanding communication, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters
  • Ability to work to strict deadlines and handle multiple projects without compromising quality

Salary up to US$160K per annum plus benefits.
