The Executive Assistant (EA) is responsible for efficiently operating the President's office. The Executive Assistant is a liaison between executives and internal or external stakeholders and is entrusted with managing special projects and planning events.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-level administrative support and assistance to the President and/or other assigned leadership staff.
  • Complete a broad variety of administrative tasks for the President, including managing an extremely active calendar; arranging all aspects of complex and detailed travel plans, itineraries, and agendas; compiling documents for travel-related meetings; completing expense reports; composing and preparing correspondence.
  • Anticipate the President’s needs and takes the initiative to gather the necessary individuals and resources to aid in resolving issues.
  • Research, prioritize, and follow up on incoming issues and concerns addressed to the President, including those of a sensitive or confidential nature, and determine an appropriate course of action, referral, or response.
  • Demonstrate leadership by maintaining credibility, trust, and support with senior leadership, while ensuring seamless communication between the President's office and internal departments.
  • Serve as a point of contact and host to visitors.

Requirements 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field preferred.
  • At least four (4) years of related experience is required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
  • Extensive knowledge of office administration, clerical procedures, and record-keeping systems.
  • Extremely proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software with the ability to learn new or updated software.
