Corporate Manager - Laundry Engineering

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the design, management and optimization of the laundry systems, equipment and processes for all resorts under the group.

Specific requirements/duties of the position include:

• Managing and leading a team of laundry engineers, technicians and support staff.
• Developing and executing strategies to optimize laundry processes, equipment and systems for maximum efficiency and performance.
• Ensuring compliance with industry standards, safety regulations and environmental guidelines.
• Monitoring and analyzing data related to equipment performance, maintenance schedules and operational costs.
• Preparing and managing the departmental budget and expenses.
• Evaluating and selecting laundry equipment and technology for procurement.
• Providing technical guidance and training to staff as needed.
• Fostering a culture of continuous improvement, innovation and teamwork within the department.
• Designing new laundry layouts and execution.
• Preparing strategic plans.

Qualifications and experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field (master's degree preferred).
• Proven experience in laundry engineering, including at least five years in a managerial role.
• Strong understanding of laundry equipment, systems and technology.
• Knowledge of industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent leadership, team management and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Commitment to safety, sustainability and environmental stewardship.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Ability to prepare annual operational capex budgets.
• Ability to review technical drawings and manuals.
