JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for the effective management of the assigned sales territory to execute the following

functions:-

  • Manage sales by servicing existing accounts, obtaining orders, and establishing new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule.
  • Visiting all existing and potential customers on a bi-weekly basis.
  • Formulate and implement strategic and tactical sales plans for growth in assigned sales territory.
  • Make sales presentations to existing and prospective customers.  
  • Meet/Exceed monthly sales target.
  • Meet/Exceed monthly sales collections of eighty percent (80%) of due invoices.
  • Keep Management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as weekly visit reports, weekly work plans, monthly and annual territory analysis. 
  • Monitor competition by gathering current market information on pricing, products, new products and delivery schedules.
  • Identify and approach potential new customers, convert enquiries from potential customers to sales.
  • Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions and making recommendations to management to address issue at hand.
  • Obtain and submit deposits and balance of payments from customers
  • Promote the organization and products
  • Maintain and develop assigned territory (St Thomas, Clarendon, Manchester, St Elizabeth)

  • Experience in planning and implementing sales strategies.
  • Experience in customer relationship management and industry experience.
  • Self motivated and trainable.
  • Dedication to providing great customer service.
  • Ability to sell.
  • A valid driver’s license
  • Own and operate a reliable motor vehicle
  • Minimum of 5 CSEC/GCE
