As a Manager/Senior Manager - Tax, you will be providing tax compliance and consulting services for a range of investment, hedge fund and insurance companies and oversee other team member's work. You will serve as business advisor to our clients aiming at maximizing engagement and achieving qualitative outcomes. This is an amazing opportunity to join an international firm with multiple specialist service lines, which offers a tremendous opportunity for development and career progression.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver a full range of tax services in compliance with laws and regulations within timeframe
  • Research the implications of tax laws, draft various tax filings and advise clients on tax-related issues
  • Maintain continuous interaction with clients, manage expectations and drive outstanding client service
  • Build client relationships and understand the client's industry to recognize key performance drivers, business trends, and emerging technologies and industry development
  • Develop budgets, determine resource requirements and monitor engagements, as well as participate in managing a tax compliance group by assisting with forecasting future compliance work
  • Conduct timely performance reviews and provide performance feedback/training

Requirements:

  • Degree educated
  • Professional qualification
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant tax experience with demonstrated career progression
  • Prior working experience within a professional services firm (ideally big 4), ideally in a managerial role
  • Wealth of knowledge and experience within US tax
  • Leadership experience to enable them to support the Directors and Partners in running the department
  • Ideally experience in an offshore jurisdiction
