A mid-sized, growing, Cayman-based firm are looking to add a new Director to their expanding audit department.

The Director will lead teams delivering audit engagements on Cayman-domiciled funds. You will need to demonstrate a strong track record of auditing within the industry and managing engagements previously, as this is a crucial hire for the business.

In return the business is able to offer better work-life balance compared to many of their competitors, the opportunity to contribute to the strategic direction of the department/firm, and long-term maybe even the chance to buy an equity stake in the company.

This could be a great opportunity for a Senior Manager in a large firm who is looking to step up but is finding their progression pathway a little blocked at present. Alternatively, you may already be a Director but looking for a role with more freedom and autonomy.

*** To fulfil the Director role you will need to gain approval from CIIPA. For this you will typically need 7 years post-qualified experience, at least 5 of which needs to have been spent on island. ***
