Responsible for achieving maximum sales profitability, growth and account penetration within an assigned territory and/or market segment by effectively selling the company’s products and or/or related services.

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to promote the company’s products to assigned territory/market segment to secure new business
  • Prospect and qualify new sales leads through a variety of methods including networking and cold calls
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing customers
  • Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule
  • Conduct customer visits to ensure satisfaction, gain market intelligence and deepen customer relationships
  • Complete proposals and sales activities, closing sales opportunities quickly and efficiently
  • Prepare and follow up on quotations
  • Liaise with Accounts Receivables & Customers to ensure payments are collected within the specified period
  • Coordinate with other team members and departments to optimise the sales effort
  • Liaise directly with project teams on technical projects on behalf of the company
  • Maintain customer accounts
  • Provide feedback and recommendations to management regarding customer targets and achievement levels
  • Cooperate with Customer Service Representatives to confirm that all orders are processed with accuracy, invoiced, properly distributed and back orders updated timely
  • Maintains overall responsibility for following up on the delivery of goods
  • Managing technical large-scale projects
  • Assist in monthly/annual stock taking as needed
  • Promote safety awareness and the development of a Safety Culture within the company
  • Liaise with external customers/contractors/suppliers as and when necessary
  • Compliance with all EIGL Policies
  • Any other duties as required
