JOB SUMMARY

PBS Technologies invites you to become a vital part of our customer centric team. As a Customer Care Agent, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction for both internal and external customers. Your primary responsibilities will include receiving and logging service calls and meticulously maintaining equipment records in our system. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaborate with Team Leaders to maximize customer satisfaction.
  • Engage customers by addressing product and service-related inquiries, providing information about our product and service range.
  • Represent PBS Technologies and our team positively in all interactions.
  • Assign Service Call numbers to incoming calls and emails requesting service.
  • Keep customer records and call statuses up-to-date in our call management system.
  • Document all customer interactions.
  • Provide timely updates to customers on the status of their service calls.
  • Monitor and track field service activities, ensuring accuracy and following up on discrepancies.
  • Offer constructive feedback to various departments and Management.
  • Gain expertise in product applications and related supplies offered by the company.
  • Properly care for and maintain company-assigned property, including hardware, accessories, manuals, and client information.
  • Collaborate closely with sales representatives within your assigned accounts.
  • Generate invoices, pro-forma documents, and assist with quotation delivery for assigned accounts.

  FINANCIAL & ADMINISTRATIVE MANAGEMENT:

  • Ensure payment procedures are met before dispatching service calls.
  • Dispatch service calls within the specified timeframes as per service level agreements
  • Manage technical support files and forms.

   ACADEMIC/PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Certificate in Business Administration/Customer Service/Communication or related field.
  • 5 CXC subjects including English and Mathematics.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Customer service training.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Basic knowledge of the Information Technology industry.
  • Strong listening skills.
