The coordinator is responsible for representing the portfolio of Abbott Diagnostics to island wide Customers. The Sales Coordinator is the primary contact with the customer account.

JOB SUMMARY                                                                                                        

 

The coordinator is responsible for representing the portfolio of Abbott Diagnostics to island wide Customers.  The Sales Coordinator is the primary contact with the customer account; with a focus on business expansion; business retention through increase customer loyalty, and drive value expansion inclusive of, but not limited to the following.

 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Act as trusted partner to existing customers.
  • Achieve targeted sales objectives
  • Manage and drive development of accounts according to strategic account plan (i.e., value expansion and economic profitability).
  • Coordinate order, billing and delivery
  • Promote and produce sales for the Abbott brand to the customer with emphasis of Laboratory Manager.
  • Analyze, develop and achieve goals through the creation and management of account –specific strategy.
  • Prepare and participate in customer business reviews.
  • Support and drive commercial sales and value expansion.
  • Champion the sales process for customer accounts.
  • Analyze and optimize instrument utilization.
  • Manage lifecycle of controls and calibrators.
  • Collaborate with the management to ensure successful achievement of goals.
  • Anticipate, identify and meet the internal and external customer needs and requests.
  • Prepare and present reports on sales activity as required monthly.
  • Review invitations for tender, compile, and submit bids for all opportunities meeting the tender requirements and ensure the key elements of the proposal / tender requirements are clearly outlined for management review and approval.
  • Prepare and present proposals for potential and existing costumer.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s of science in Business, Biomedical, Engineering or Medical Technology
  • Minimum of  5 years sales experience

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Excellent Time Management and Customer Service Skills.
  • Must be computer literate and proficient in MS Office.
  • Excellent written and oral communication.
  • Ability to apply critical thinking and creativity.
  • Detail oriented, pays keen attention to accuracy.
  • Must be able to function independently and handle a variety of responsibilities under pressure.
