We are seeking an experienced Divisional Sales & Production Manager to lead our sales efforts while also contributing to the production process, ensuring seamless operations and continued growth.

Job Description:

Summary: As the Divisional Sales & Production Manager you will be responsible for driving the growth of our Adhesive Division. Your primary focus will be on sales strategy, business development, and revenue generation, while also overseeing the production process to ensure efficiency and product quality.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Management:

  1. Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve and exceed annual revenue targets.
  2. Build and maintain strong customer relationships, identifying new opportunities for business expansion.
  3. Provide leadership and guidance to the sales team, setting clear goals and monitoring their performance.
  4. Analyse market trends and competitors to identify opportunities and threats, adapting the sales strategy as needed.

Production Oversight:

  1. Collaborate with the production team to ensure efficient manufacturing processes, quality control, and timely delivery of products.
  2. Monitor production schedules, resource allocation, and inventory levels to meet customer demand while controlling costs.
  3. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and product quality.
  4. Oversee safety protocols and compliance within the production area.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

  1. Work closely with the research and development team to understand product innovations and drive their successful implementation in production.
  2. Collaborate with the HR department for workforce planning and employee development within the division.

Financial Management:

  1. Manage the division's budget, ensuring cost control and optimization of resources.
  2. Monitor financial performance against sales and production targets, making adjustments as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Sales, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
  • Proven experience in sales and production management, ideally in the adhesive or chemical industry.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to balance sales targets with production efficiency.
