Training Generalist- Montego Bay
As a Trainer you will support Operations in developing the knowledge and skills to deliver in their job. You will also develop and facilitate comprehensive learning and development solutions to meet the needs of employees. Manage vendor relationships with external training resources and work closely with the organization’s Training and Development staff and other training areas within the company to develop joint efforts in training, learning, designing development solutions and building relationships.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
Delivery
- Prepare people, location and facilities for Training Delivery
- Deliver Training/ up-training to transfer learning
- Apply knowledge and concepts of adult learning styles
- Facilitate leadership training as needed e.g. JUMP
Design
- Complete Training Needs Analysis to confirm the Training is applicable
- Develop, facilitate and maintain curricula that meets current and future need of the organization and its clients.
- Conduct pilot training with Key Stake holders prior to delivery of the content in accordance with our Best Training & Development Policy.
Outcomes
- Evaluate Training to check effectiveness
- Report on Training to summarise evaluation
- Take ownership of the attendees learning by following up
Communication
- Keep stakeholders informed and updated on Training initiatives
- Work closely with operations to develop new hires and tenured agents.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in relevant work experience.
- Degree in Education/Training, or HR would be an asset
- 3 years of experience within Training environment, 2 years professional training experience with Human Resources within an organization
- 1 year on-the-job experience in a training capacity preferable
- Prior experience in Collections would be an asset
Required Skills
- Demonstrated group facilitation skills
- Knowledge and understanding of adult learning styles
- Proficient PC skills in Windows NT, MS Office Products, Internet/Intranet applications

- Strong Customer Service Skills

Candidate must be able to work 7 days of the week and all required shifts
