JOB SUMMARY
The Accounts Receivables Officer is responsible for accounts receivable management, invoice & collection of overdue amounts, monthly reporting of performances, key receivable metrics.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
· Tertiary education in Accounting Financial Management, ACCA or related discipline
· Minimum 3years experience in account receivables and general accounting
· Knowledge of general accounting principles
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
· Posting of cash/debit card/electronic transfer payments
· Billing of invoices for one off, contracts
· Spearhead the collection of outstanding payments and prepare and submit daily collection
· Receipt all payments
· Update client accounts daily and report on non-payment, delayed payment and alter irregularities
· Maintain accounts receivable client files and records
· Monitor clients accounts to ensure timely collections
· Prepare monthly journal entries and audit schedules
· Reconcile receivables sub-ledger balance to general ledger monthly
· Submit weekly report regarding amounts collected and difficulties exoerienced.
