GCC Group Barbados, a member of the GCG Group Inc., operates in twenty-one countries across Latin America, the Caribbean and USA. We are seeking to recruit a resourceful, skilled, and highly motivated individual to join the GCG Team in the capacity of Country HR Manager. This role offers an opportunity to support our Ground Handling, Catering, Concessions and all other GCG Group Barbados business operations.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSABILITIES include but are not limited to:

• Lead the manpower planning for the Catering and Ground Handling businesses
• Develop annual HR budgets, departmental strategic plans and critical success actions are developed and implemented as agreed.
• Participate in development of HR objectives and systems, including metrics, queries, and standard reports for ongoing company-wide requirements.
• Ensure implementation of Group HR policies and procedures.
• Lead the HR department in implementing programs to help improve the employee experience.
• Monitor employee and industrial relations development to prevent disputes
• Train and provide support to the HR Shared Services team
• Lead employee welfare, safety, wellness and health programs
. • Key member of any decision-making process regarding employee communication
• Provide high-quality advice and service to management on people and performance management.

ACADEMIC & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field
• 8+ years' experience in human resources at a leadership level
• Master’s degree, PHR or SPHR certification would be an asset
• Able to communicate in English orally and in writing
• Excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills, ethics, and cultural awareness
• Must possess a high level of confidentiality.
• Natural interpersonal and people skills
• Strong detail-oriented and resourceful mindset
• Problem-solving aptitude and time management skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook)
