Bilingual Public Relations Specialist to be responsible for overseeing and executing PR campaigns, developing and maintaining relationships with media outlets and stakeholders, and managing crisis communication strategies.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Developing and executing PR strategies in alignment with the company's business objectives, while considering the needs of a dual-language market.
  2. Building and maintaining relationships with media outlets, journalists, industry associations, and local/regional stakeholders in China and beyond.
  3. Creating high-quality PR materials in Chinese and English such as press releases, media kits, and other communications to promote the company's products, services, and brand initiatives.
  4. Coordinating and leading PR events, such as product launches, conferences, workshops, and media interviews related to the tech industry, to showcase the company's thought leadership and innovation.
  5. Monitoring media coverage and social media trends, analyzing PR metrics and preparing periodic reports for upper management.
  6. Providing crisis communications support, when necessary, to safeguard the company's reputation in a timely and professional manner.
  7. Managing and training local junior PR staff to ensure that the company's PR standards are met in Chinese- and English-language markets.

Requirements:
  1. Bachelor's Degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, international relations or related field.
  2. A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in corporate communications, public relations, , journalism, or related fields, with prior experience working in both Chinese and English-speaking regions
  3. Fluency in both Chinese (Mandarin) and English languages, both verbally and in written communication
  4. Strong skills in developing and managing public relation campaigns and initiatives to promote brand awareness and reputation
  5. Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills, with experience developing press releases, media pitches, and other PR material in Chinese and English
  6. Experience working in tech or telecommunications, with a deep knowledge of the industry, media landscape, and latest PR trends.
