 Sagicor Life Jamaica Limited is seeking a suitable candidate to join our Premium Accounts team in the capacity of:

 

 Pre-Authorized Payment/ Electronic Fund Transfer (PAP/EFT) Assistant (Contract)

 

 Update client records with new method of payment in an accurate and timely manner to ensure client satisfaction while maximizing revenue collection for the Division.

Ensure that great care is exercised when coding Pre-Authorized Payment (PAP) information which is central to the proper maintenance and update of policies and any inaccuracies or discrepancies in coding policies are resolved in the shortest time to facilitate the effective operation of the Department and the achievement of the goals and objectives.

 

Location: Kingston

 

 

As a PAP/ EFT Assistant, you will:

 

  • Record and update policy records with all Pre-Authorized Payment (PAP) forms received in the department.
    • Examine PAP forms for completeness and accuracy.
    • Update the policy records with all changes relevant to the PAP method of payment with 100% accuracy.
  • Return PAP forms with error to the Branches or Client Services Department for correction.
  • Investigate and respond to queries relating to pre-authorized payments.
  • Dispatch pre-authorized payments forms to Commercial Banks.
  • Advise the Advisors of policy arrears after processing PAP forms.
  • Respond to all inquiries regarding PAP payments specified time frame.
  • Perform any other duties assigned from time to time.

 

 

What do you need?

 

  • A minimum of six (6) CSEC general proficiency subjects including Mathematics and English Language.
  • Successful completion of LOMA (parts 1 and 2) or any other industry related designation.
  • At least two (2) years’ overall working experience inclusive of one (1) year in an operations division of a life insurance company.
  • Sound human relations and time management skills.
  • Working knowledge of insurance policies and processes.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
  • Working knowledge of basic accounting principles.
