SUMMARY

Knowledge of horticulture to create various landscape effects through the placement of shrubs, flowers, trees, and other plants.

Qualifications and Requirements

The ideal candidate must possess:

• Certification from a recognized training institution.

• At least one (1) year hands-on experience with gardening techniques.
• One (1) - Three (3) years landscaping or Gardener experience.
• Candidates need an eye for detail to notice when mulch needs to be replaced or replenished. To employ turf management techniques to make sure mulch is spread evenly.
• Ability to mow lawn either by hand or using a riding lawnmower
• To use knowledge of weed maintenance techniques to develop and stick to a regular maintenance schedule. 
• To know the ideal planting conditions for each plant, as well as how to care for them. Knowledge of pesticide and fertilizer care and use.
• Knowledge of pool maintenance a plus.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• The willingness and the ability to sleep over (nights) at the villa.

• Experience as a landscaper that has worked in a four (4) star or five (5) diamond properties.
