DOCUMENT CONTROL ASSISTANT VACANCY
A reputable Company is seeking to recruit a suitable candidate for the position of Document Control Assistant in Montego Bay, Jamaica.
Description
Responsible for providing support in a manner which will allow for the efficient operation of the Administration Department.
Responsibilities & duties include but are not limited to:
Manage requests for documentation
File documents in physical and digital records and ensure appropriate storage
Review and maintain the accuracy of the records, editing where necessary to ensure they are up to date
Set up, copy, scan and store documents
Create templates
To liaise with and distribute project related information with all levels of the project team and potentially external parties
Manage the processes around documentation within the organization
Maintain confidentiality around sensitive documentation
Prepare ad-hoc reports on projects when required
Skills needed:
Strong IT skills in MS office including outlook, excel and word.
Good attention to detail
The ability to multitask
Highly organized
Excellent communication skills
Proficient typing skills
Minute taking
Requirements:
2-3 years working experience in administration or customer service
Excellent written and verbal communication
Highly responsive with strong organizational skills
Energetic and ambitious
Ability to handle confidential material
Must demonstrate high levels of integrity and trustworthiness
Ability to work in a fast-moving and culturally diverse environment
Must reside in Montego Bay & its environs
Knowledge of construction is an asset
