Job Summary
To develop, recommend and implement marketing plans and promotions so as to facilitate the achievement of established company objectives.
• Develop, recommend and implement strategies, plans and promotions to facilitate the achievement of the company's marketing objectives.
• Manage implementation of the company's promotional activities to ensure the achievement of established marketing goals and objectives.
• Monitor brand performance to ensure conformity with sales forecasts.
• Prepare monthly reports on brand performance, planned versus executed promotional activity as well as highlight upcoming initiatives.
• Monitor distribution levels and shelf presence through regular and scheduled trade visits.
• Monitor pricing of products and profitability in all markets
• Participate in the preparation of sales budgets, forecasts, and annual business plans.
• Review and analyse the execution of promotions, report on findings and recommend appropriate adjustments and initiatives.
• Conduct external product testing in accordance with established procedures.
• Prepare draft budget proposals and administer approved budgets.
• Monitor market trends, identify potential new markets and drive New Product Development for your brands.
• Monitor customer reactions through focus group and market research
• Performs other related duties as may be assigned from time to time.
• Develop, formulate, recommend and implement marketing plans on media promotions and product launches.
• Select, develop and monitor the work of designated promoters as required.
• Review and analyse company promotions.
• Prepare reports and analyses on brand performance.
• Prepare draft budget proposals and administer approved budgets
• Bachelor Degree in Marketing
• Oral and written communication skills
• Excellent listening /analytical skills and ability to respond to results and customer research
