Marketing and Social Media Manager

Tai Flora is looking for an ambitious, enthusiastic and highly skilled personnel with exceptional experience to fill the position of Marketing and Social Media Manager

MONTEGO BAY LOCATION

Description of Duties:

Reporting to the Director of Sales, will be responsible for marketing and developing the local and international Group and Events Markets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement marketing strategies.
• Develop, manage, track and analyze the progress of market trends over time using all available resources.
• Provide feedback from our business partners regarding the quality of service provided making relevant recommendations when necessary.
• Investigate, initiate and coordinate the development of an action plan to penetrate new markets.
• In this role you will be responsible for growing and maintaining the department sales goal and working with the sales team to foster existing relationships and bring in new clients.
• Extensive knowledge about various social media platforms – Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pintrest etc.

• - Must be able to keep up with the event industry trends 
  - Can work flexible hours, tight deadlines, real time 

Required Qualifications and Experience:

• Tertiary Level Certification in Marketing and Social Media or Hospitality from a recognized tertiary institution.
• A minimum of three (3) years related experience.
• Good working knowledge in Marketing and Social Media.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Good time management and leadership skills.
• Strong reporting and analytical skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Confident and able to work under pressure.
• Proficiency in Graphic Design and Photography 
• Experience in photo editing
• Experience in social media advertising
