In this role, you will support the firm with a wide range of services that help enhance our brand profile and enables us to win new business with our clients.

KPMG in Caricom invites suitably qualified, competent, young and vibrant individuals to apply for the position of Markets Associate in our Trinidad and Tobago, Barbados and the Eastern Caribbean offices.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Markets Associate will join the Caricom Markets team and support with a range of services that it delivers to the business, including, but not limited to the following:

Brand management 

  • Maintaining brand compliance by creating and maintaining up-to-date templates for email newsletters, MS Office templates e.g., Word and PowerPoint, digital assets, stationery, and other branded materials
  • Providing brand compliance checks on outgoing documents such as proposals and marketing collateral
  • Working with third-party vendors to ensure correct branding of event collateral and promotional materials
  • Delivering brand training to new joiners and other staff

Digital marketing

  • Managing updates to the website and intranet while maintaining global guidelines for usage
  • Creating digital content including email newsletters, online advertising, social media posts and videos
  • Maintaining social media channels, including but not limited to LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter and help to drive traffic and followers

Proposal support

  • Preparing and maintain proposal templates for the Audit, Tax and Advisory departments that are consistent with KPMG International requirements and graphically appealing to potential clients
  • Actively searching for Request for Proposals (RFP) on various media e.g., local newspapers, IADB, World Bank, EU, Central Tenders Board websites etc.
  • Working with individual Managers and Partners in the Audit, Tax and Advisory departments to prepare proposals, expressions of interest (EOI) and pre-qualification documents for submission. Respective Manager or Partner will maintain ultimate responsibility for the content of the proposal, structure of the approach/ work plan and budget
  • Maintaining proposal tracking list of submitted proposals, including following up on submitted proposals

Event Management

  • Planning various firm events e.g., conferences, seminars, training and workshop sessions, client events, staff functions etc.
  • Co-ordinating the firm’s successful participation/ sponsorship of various conferences and seminars including being present at these events to streamline proceedings

Markets Assistance

  • Maintaining up to date client distribution lists in compliance with local data management requirements
  • Supporting account management by conducting basic market research, creating client profile templates 
  • Assisting with updating the CRM database 

All duties are required to be performed with a high level of attention to detail and sometimes under time constraints to meet specified deadlines.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

Experience

  • Experience working in a professional services or B2B environment preferred
  • Experience with digital marketing and branding highly desirable
  • Experience working on proposals and client pitch presentations highly desirable

Technical Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree preferably Marketing related
  • Intermediate level of proficiency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel,  Adobe Creative Suite, Photo Shop, In Design and Acrobat
