Elevate Lounge & Nightclub is seeking a self-motivated Nightclub manager who can help our organization to grow.  We need a Nightclub Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our nightclub. This includes nightly check off, managing inventory and staff, develop revenue opportunities for the club, assist with recruiting talent or running promotions & overseeing the appearance and cleanliness. The Nightclub Manager should be able to network and build lasting, professional relationships with clients, while constantly looking for ways to increase revenue. The Nightclub Manager's responsibilities include working with a broad client base and a capable team of staff. You should be able to work under pressure and answer a number of questions from staff, promotors, clients, potential and guests in a polite, professional and efficient manner.

To be successful as a Nightclub Manager, you should demonstrate good powers of observation and be able to identify weaknesses before they become problematic. A top candidate for this position should be proactive, hungry to learn and be respectful in all their dealings with staff and clients.

Nightclub Manager Responsibilities:

• Providing supervision and training to all new and existing staff.
• Handling promptly all grievances from both staff, club members and guests.
• Issuing documented warnings and executing all disciplinary action as needed.
• Setting goals for improving the business.
• Screening and coaching all new hires.
• Improving the club's marketing strategy and workshopping ways to increase revenue.
• Organizing team-building events.
• Building loyalty between clients and the club.

  • Co-ordinate with Purchasing for ordering supplies
  • Promoting club/hiring or encouraging others to promote club
  • Ensuring operations run according to safety and sanitation standards and laws
  • Implement strategies for improved work performance
  • Co-ordinate with HR to interview potential employees to determine whether they have the right qualifications and experience for the job
  • Ensuring that nightclub security personnel are trained in conflict resolution methods and laws regarding the use of force
  • Overseeing the financial operations of the nightclub to ensure compliance with industry standards
  • Determining the number of employees needed to run the business efficiently and effectively
  • Coordinating the entertainment schedule with the DJ and other staff members, such as security guards or event coordinators
  • Discussing any concerns patrons might have and resolving these issues, where necessary/applicable
  • Maintaining good relationships with local law enforcement agencies to ensure they can be called upon in case of an emergency

Nightclub Manager Requirements:

• A degree in business management or any related field.
• Experience in management or a leadership role.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to coach staff members.
• Computer literate.
• Ability to remain calm and professional.
• Marketing and budgeting knowledge would be advantageous.
• Willingness to work overtime as required, weekends, holidays and night shifts
