Job Summary:

As an Instrument, Mechanical, or Electrical Technician in at our company; Flow Measurement Specialties Limited, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of measurement and control instruments mainly used in the oil and gas industry. You will be responsible for calibrating, servicing, and troubleshooting a wide range of instruments, mechanical systems, or electrical systems. Your work will directly impact the quality and safety of our clients' processes and products.

Key Responsibilities:

    • Perform calibration and testing of a diverse range of instruments such as flow meters, pressure gauges, temperature indicators and other recording indicating or controlling instruments, or electrical systems in accordance with established procedures and standards.
    • Inspect, test, adjust, and repair electronic, mechanical, and pneumatic instruments and systems used to indicate, record, and control.
    • Conduct routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of instruments, mechanical systems, or electrical systems to ensure optimal performance.
    • Identify and address issues, including component replacement, adjustments, and alignment, to ensure instrument accuracy.
    • Maintain accurate records of calibration activities, including calibration certificates, test data, and equipment history.
    • Install, configure, and set up new instruments or systems at client sites, ensuring they meet the specified performance criteria.
    • Provide technical support to clients and colleagues on the proper use and maintenance of calibrated instruments or systems.
    • Adhere to safety regulations and maintain a safe work environment.
    • Capable of successfully working within a team while having the initiative to self-resolve issues.
    • Continuous improvement suggestions for calibration activities.
    • To protect the organization’s value by keeping information confidential.
    • To comply with all company’s policies, aims and objectives.

 

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Minimum requirements: Technical Diploma in EEET, MET, MEEET, or equivalent.
  • Strong technical and mechanical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to precision and accuracy.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • The ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively.
  • Adherence to safety protocols and ethical conduct.
