POSITION PROFILE SOCIAL MEDIA COMMUNITY & INFLUENCER MANAGER

The Social Media Community & Influencer Manager is responsible for the growth and maintenance of social media platforms. Their role is also to ensure that every member has a sense of belonging and ownership and that the community creates value for its members.

MAJOR FUNCTIONS:

  • Manage the day-to-day messaging, monitoring, and moderation of assigned social media channels.
  • Consistently drive and champion the craft of social media to drive earned media through the development of compelling content
  • Ensure content is posted timeously across all social media platforms
  • Customer relationship building (responding to comments and messages in a timely and professional manner)
  • Ensure complaints are managed efficiently, professionally, and timely and that negative sentiment is closely monitored.
  •  Create monthly content calendars for all assigned brands one month in advance.
  • Effectively monitor, report, and allocate monthly budget towards influencers, content creation, giveaways, and influencers
  • Analyse monthly digital performance and create performance summary reports for Category Managers at the end of every month.
  • Track performance of social media campaigns, content, and overall health of the assigned social handles with regular monthly reporting to the Category Managers
  • Focus on brand tone development and implementation
  • Identifying new content opportunities, promotional ideas, and ways to repurpose /create content
  • Measure and report the performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs)
  • Collaborating with creative teams to craft content that best answers social media content briefs
  • Working collaboratively with Category Managers to execute any trade promotions which will be digitally promoted
  • Competitor analysis (share best practices from competitors and inspiring brands outside our competitive set)  
  •  Identify and manage relationships with influencers across markets, monitor their performance and ensure completion of deliverables.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Degree in Marketing, Management, or any related discipline.
  • Advanced computer proficiency (Microsoft Office Suite)
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in social media sales & marketing environment preferrably in the FMCG industry
