SALARY SCALE: $ 1,900,694.77 - $ 2,283,572.25    per annum

JOB SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for providing plumbing for the Company’s hot and cold-water distribution and wastewater disposal. The scope of responsibility includes the installation, maintenance and repairs of plumbing fixtures and systems and troubleshooting and correcting plumbing problems.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

•  HEART Trust Level III Plumbing
• Diploma in Plumbing & Pipe Fitting
• Three (3) years’ experience in the field.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Install plumbing systems for water drainage, toilet systems, faucets, sinks, basins etc.
• Install, repair and maintain water treatment equipment, piping and controls, underground storm sanitary, sinks, toilets, tubs, water heaters and conditioners.
• Test and rectify pipe systems and fixtures for leaks.
• Identify required tools and special equipment necessary for tasks.
• Troubleshoot and repair damaged plumbing systems.
• Install and connect hot and cold-water pipes and drainage systems.
• Read blueprints to know where plumbing systems should be or are installed, and coordinate with other laborers.
• Perform scheduled maintenance service on plumbing systems and fixtures.
• Ensure installations, repairs and maintenance carried out meet relevant codes and regulations.
• Prepare and participate in the preparation of the budget and materials estimates for plumbing activities and job assigned.
•  Manage and supervise apprentices and other maintenance workers.
