Salary Range: CI $62,508- CI $74,256

                      USD $74,414- USD $88,400

 

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Test & Quality Assurance Analyst to join the Cayman Islands Government and become a vital member of a highly collaborative team “To make the lives of those we serve better”. The Senior Test & Quality Assurance Analyst will be a member of the Computer Services Departments Quality Assurance team and will be responsible for developing and implementing T&QA strategies, methodologies, plans, disciplines, and frameworks.

 Qualifications: The post-holder should possess:

  1. A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science with a minimum of three (3) years post-graduate experience as a Developer/Tester; OR
  2. An Associate’s degree in Computer Science with a minimum of five (5) years post-graduate experience as a Developer/Tester; OR
  3. A more mature entrant with ten (10) years of relevant software testing experience and related post-high school education if an aptitude for software testing is evident.

Three (3) or more years’ experience should include project management, especially in the areas of test planning, test management, test execution, and defect tracking.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience: The post-holder must demonstrate excellent communication, organizational, analytical and problem-solving technique skills when attending to assigned objectives. Must have a solid background of Agile framework and regression testing and the ability to document and troubleshoot errors.

The post-holder must be able to work both independently and with teams, have sharp troubleshooting skills, be able to communicate at all levels within CIG, and effectively manage projects from start to finish.  Knowledge and experience in the following areas of specialisation would be advantageous.

Knowledge and experience in the following areas would be advantageous:

Oracle SQL and PL/SQL

Testing integration with Source Control (GIT, bitbucket, etc.)

Continuous Intergation (Jenkis, Bamboo, etc.)

Web Application Testing (TestComplete, Selenium, etc.)

Load Testing (Apache JMeter, LoadRunner, ReadyAPI)

Confluence

Jira Cpre, JIRA Software, Jira Portfolio

Project Management, Business Analysis and Data Modelling

Web Service Design and Delivery, Testing (SOAP, REST)

WebLogic Server
