 A leading supermarket chain is seeking to recruit  young and dynamic  candidates with exceptional customer service  to fill the position of Cashier in Kingston, St. Catherine and Montego Bay.

Key Responsibilities

Receive and disburse money for payment of goods purchased in accordance with Company policies and procedures, assist customers with queries while giving excellent customer service.

  Requirements

• 3 CXC’s including mathematics/Accounts or knowledge of basic arithmetic.
• Skill in handling and counting cash, and ability to learn to operate a cash register efficiently and accurately.
• Skill in communicating with the public.
• Ability to multi-task
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Trustworthy
• Ability to work both independently and within a team environment.
• Must be able to work on shifts, weekends and public holidays.
• Must be able to stand for long periods.
• Must have a valid ID (national ID, Passport or Drivers license)
• Must  have TRN and NIS number

If you do not have any experience in cashiering, on the job training will be provided.
